The College of Early Childhood Education is organizing an important awareness seminar titled “Sinai: From a Battleground to an Oasis of Development.”

Under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Dandaly, President of Zagazig University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Shehata Hosni, Dean of the College.

The Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized an important awareness seminar titled “Sinai: From a Battlefield to an Oasis of Development,” in collaboration with the Nile Information Center under the Sharqia Media Administration, on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. In attendance were Prof. Dr. Amira Qutb, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research; media personality Desouki Abdullah, Director of the Sharqia Media Department; media personality Hossam Hassan; Ms. Faten Al-Badri; Mr. Tawfiq Abdel Aziz; and Ms. Hanaa Abdullah; Ms. Amira Hilal, and Ms. Nora Ahmed from the Sharqia Media team, as well as a number of faculty members, support staff, and a large crowd of the college’s female students.

Speaking at the event were Prof. Dr. Shehata Hosni, Dean of the College of Early Childhood Education at Zagazig University, and Major General Mohsen Saad—a military and strategic expert and lecturer at the Nasser Military Academy.

The Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education at Zagazig University began his remarks by emphasizing the role of the State Information Service, represented by the Sharqia Media Department, and its meaningful awareness-raising efforts on various issues.

He emphasized that commemorating the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai is an opportunity to strengthen national awareness among young people and instill a sense of responsibility toward the homeland through active participation in all national events, thereby contributing to the development of a conscious generation capable of continuing the march of development and reconstruction throughout our beloved Sinai.

For his part, Major General Mohsen Saad, a military and strategic expert, affirmed that the anniversary of the liberation of Sinai will remain a symbol of pride and dignity and a shining milestone in Egypt’s modern history.
