Strategic planning is a necessity because it leads to raising the performance of educational institutions, present and future. Strategic planning also contributes to defining a roadmap for the institution, as well as increasing its ability to face intense competition, giving it a continuous competitive advantage, and enabling the institution to use resources effectively.
Based on the above, the Strategic Planning Unit embarked on building the strategic plan for the college, taking advantage of the results of the environmental analysis of the college, and keeping in mind the premises for building the plan it identified, which included the Egypt 2030 strategy, as well as the strategic plan of Zagazig University, and the strategic plan comes to chart the future features of the college in light of the changes in the university reality, with the need for the college to evaluate and follow up the strategic plan for the college annually; to determine the extent of progress; overcome difficulties; and propose improvement plans in light of the developments that occur.
