Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Dandali, President of Zagazig University, Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shehta Hosni, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. Dr. Amira Qutb, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Rania Adel, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development,
and within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education's strategic plan to combat behavioral deviations alien to Egyptian society, which requires intensifying awareness activities in Egyptian universities, The Faculty of Early Childhood Education, in cooperation with the General Administration for Student Welfare and Scientific Activities, organized an important awareness seminar entitled “Electronic Extremism.” Dr. Iman Selim from the Faculty of Computers and Information at Zagazig University gave a lecture at the seminar. The seminar was held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Hall 1 at 11:00 a.m., under the supervision and organization of Mr. Osama Al-Sayed, Director General of the Faculty, and Ms. Heba Faraj, Director of Youth Welfare at the Faculty. The seminar addressed several topics, including
- Awareness and warning about the dangers of electronic blackmail of girls, artificial intelligence, and the use of personal files on social media pages and ways to prevent them.
- Part of the open dialogue and interaction between students through questions and discussions.
- The most important recommendations and guidelines that were emphasized during the seminar.
