Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Dandaly, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Hilal Afifi, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Shehta Hassani, Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Mona Othman, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in Sharqia, and Prof. Dr. Amira Qutb, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, and in the presence of Prof. Osama El-Sayed, Director General of the Faculty, faculty members and their assistants, and a large crowd of female students from the Faculty.
Within the framework of the Egyptian Women's Empowerment Program, and in cooperation with the Population Clubs Project - Youth Empowerment and Awareness Raising on Population Issues Program of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Faculty of Early Childhood Education welcomed the Monufia Core Team on Saturday and Sunday, November 29 and 30, 2025, under the patronage of Dr. Mona Othman, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports in Sharqia, and the supervision of Dr. Fatma Ragab, Population Clubs Coordinator at the Youth Directorate.
The events began with a minute of silence in memory of one of the deceased students, who was one of the participants in the theatrical performance. This was followed by the theatrical performance presented by the students of the Nawa Al-Monufia team, followed by fruitful interaction from the audience, as the team asked several questions to gauge their opinions and impressions of the content of the performance.
Prof. Dr. Shehta Hosni gave a speech in which he expressed his appreciation to the audience, the director, and the team, thanking them for highlighting prominent social issues, especially those related to women, and emphasizing the vital role of theater in spreading awareness and promoting a culture of dialogue within society.
Prof. Amira Qutb, Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, also expressed her appreciation for the outstanding theatrical performance and praised the choice of the play's theme for its relevance to contemporary issues.
