The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector (Crisis and Disaster Management Unit) at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized an important awareness seminar for female students entitled “Malnutrition Diseases and Ways to Prevent Them” on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Hall (11), presented by Prof. Dr. Ahdab Abdo Al-Maadawi, Professor of Nutrition and Food Science in the Department of Home Economics, Faculty of Specific Education, Zagazig University. The seminar addressed
the following topics: the relationship between diet and student health, ways to prevent obesity and its complications, how to calculate body mass index, and the importance of healthy eating habits in improving concentration and academic achievement. The seminar concluded with a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: Spreading nutritional awareness among students, conducting periodic body mass index checks, avoiding unhealthy eating habits, and committing to breakfast as the foundation of daily health. It was an enjoyable and informative meeting. All of the students' questions were answered, and commemorative photos were taken with them.
