The Crisis and Disaster Management Unit at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education organized an important workshop for female students in collaboration with the University's Civil Protection Department entitled “Evacuation Plan and How to Use a Fire Extinguisher” on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Auditorium (1), presented by Dr. Samah Saeed Rajab Attia Al-Masri, Director of Industrial Security, Safety, and Occupational Health at Zagazig University. The workshop covered the steps for using a fire extinguisher... the types of extinguishers and how to use each of them, the situations in which a fire extinguisher can be used, and the dangers of misusing a fire extinguisher. There was also a practical application of how to carry out an evacuation plan with the students.
This was done under the guidance of the Dean of the Faculty and the Vice Deans, in the presence of a group of department heads, faculty members, and support staff, in an enjoyable and informative meeting. All questions from the attendees were answered.
